A future Monk Master's purpose. And The why of it all.
I think I speak for all of us that are in training for the advancement into becoming a Monk Master.
This is something that I have loved sine I was a child. My uncle across the street from me had a 8 foot old Brunswick
table.
At the age of 5 I was playing Pool. My Father even made me a wooden box to stand on when I would go over there to
play pool. I wasn't tall enough yet to shoot like the grown ups. So all my life I played Pool over there. Then as time went
on I got involved in other things as most of us do in life. And strayed away from it for years. Now and then when I went to
a Bar with friends, they would hate to play Pool with me because after the first 2 or 3 games I would start running balls left
and right. And they would go back to the Bar and remain drinking and complaining becaUSE THEY NEVER HAVE A
CHANCE TO SHOOT.
Last year 2007. My Girlfriend bought me a copy of The Hustler on dvd. That movie changed my life. I knew my calling
from then on. I began going on the internet and reading as much as I could on Pool playing. I spent hundreds of dollars
shopping on Billiard supply websites. Then I read about ....THE MONK BILLIARD ACADEMY. I never seen anything like it.
These guys Tim Miller and Dr. Cue take this game beyond what most of the world knows about Pool.
I bought the first dvd and watched it over and over again. Then I eventually collected the entire series. Which I still watch
to this day on a daily basis.
I knew I could play like these guys if I really took it serious and applied myself. Since getting these lessons from The
Monk, my Pool playing has improved phenomenally. People I play in Pool Rooms who know me pretty well say, Man, how
did you get so good so fast? I told them about The Monk Billiard Academy.
Most of them say, I like Pool playing, but not that much to spend all kind of money on it. Too bad for them. This
information is worth millions. Most people don't have a clue. Or just are boring people who go to bars and slam balls and
act cool. My purpose is to become a professional Pool Player and Monk Master.
To satisfy a life long love that I always had for this game but neglected for too long. I always knew one day I would take it
more serious. Friends tell me now, Man,
that's a perfect field for you to get into Wayne. You've always loved to shoot pool. And now I am gonna take it to levels
that no one in my hometown has never took it before. And in that experience of expertise which I will acquire, I will teach
others and share my knowledge with others and go around the world to experience other players and make those who
are interested in becoming great Pool players a chance to do the same.
Why? Well, I think not only am I doing this for myself and the love of the game of Pool. But, the good feeling I get from
the discipline and dedication to master Billiard fundamentals. It will give me not only discipline in Pool Playing, but
discipline in my everyday life. That's something I've noticed. This knowledge and skill of Pool playing can be used in your
everyday life as well. It will condition you mentally and physically. And by becoming a great Pool player, I will win
tournaments and make lots of money and give my family the best of everything in life.....Wayne Fabra.
